Adrià Rofes is an Atlantic Fellow for the Global and Brain Health Institute. The GBHI trains and supports researchers who study dementia. Ultimately, GBHI aims to turn research evidence into effective policy that reduces the world-wide scale and impact of dementia.
Adrià is currently a visiting scholar in our department and he announced that he was recently awarded a prestigious grant from the Alzheimer’s Association and Global Brain Health Institute to conduct a study to “Predict therapy effects in people with Alzheimer’s disease using tDCS” in collaboration with researchers at both Johns Hopkins and Trinity College Dublin: Prof. Brenda Rapp (Cognitive Science, JHU), Prof. Kyrana Tsapkini (Neurology, JHMI), and Prof. Brian Lawlor (Psychiatry, TCD). Congrats!
