Lab Manager, Communication Sciences, Temple

The Speech, Language, and Brain Lab in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Temple University is seeking a full- time lab manager to work on projects related to language ability in people with aphasia. Responsibilities would include experimental development, recruitment and testing of participants, data entry, and general lab administration. Methods include discourse analysis, eye-tracking, behavioral testing of people with aphasia, and testing normally aging adults.

Preferred Qualifications:

B.A. or B.S. degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Psychology, Linguistics, Cognitive science, Neuroscience, or a related field. Research experience in the behavioral or neural sciences. Experience with methods used to study sentence comprehension and/or with people who have aphasia is preferred. The successful applicant must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Basic computer skills required.
