Change in Requirements for the Cog Sci Major (October, 2009)
050.102 Language and Mind is no longer a required course for the Cog Sci major. 050.101 Cognition is now the only course that all Cog Sci majors must take. This change applies to current as well as future majors.
Here is what the change means for you:
If you have not taken Language and Mind you are not required to do so.
If you have already taken Language and Mind, you can count it as one of your courses under the Linguistics Area of Concentration (Area B).
