They come from a variety of backgrounds and from all corners of the globe. We can’t wait to start working with them! MA students Luke Adams, BA in Cognitive Science, Psychology, & Behavioral Biology from JHU. Luke is interested in phoneme discrimination, cognitive neuropsychology, and semantics. Karen Chen, BS in Cognitive Science from UCSD. Karen is interested in computational/representational concept of the mind, neuroeconomics, and spatial cognition. PhD students Suhas Arehalli, BS in Computer Science & Mathematics from UCSD. Suhas is interested in computational linguistics, psycholinguistics, language processing, and mental representations of language. An Nguyen, BS in Psychology & Cognitive Science from Truman State University. An is interested in language acquisition, bilingualism, and computational linguistics. Rennie Pasquinelli, BA in Cognitive Science & Linguistics from University of Michigan Ann Arbor. Rennie is interested in first language acquisition, space and language, disordered language, and spatial reasoning.
