Child Development Lab Summer Undergraduate Research Internship

The CSI Child Development Lab, under the direction of Dr. Sarah Berger, is now accepting applications for our NSF-funded 2021 Summer Undergraduate Research Internship

The goal of this internship is to promote research experience for undergraduates from groups typically under-represented in the sciences. Students will work on a project examining the impact of sleep on learning in infancy, the relation between sleep and motor development, or the interaction between motor and cognitive development in infancy. Interns will work closely with Dr. Sarah Berger and will collaborate with graduate and other undergraduate students to receive hands-on research experience working directly with families. This internship will be fully remote.

This is a paid internship running June 1 – Aug 5. Students work 4 days/week and can receive up to a $3000 stipend. Applicants should be current undergraduates who are interested in developmental science, cognitive or motor development, or sleep and who intend to pursue graduate training in these or similar areas.
