Research Interests: Computational linguistics, corpus methods, psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics
Education: PhD, Johns Hopkins University
Prof. Hale received his PhD in Cognitive Science in 2003. He previously taught at Michigan State University, Cornell University, and the University of Georgia. He was a full time research scientist at Google DeepMind 2017-2018. His research uses computational modeling and neuroimaging to study human language processing.
